Who We Are
Mission: To improve the quality of life within the greater Milan area through volunteerism and community action that promotes a stable food supply and healthy living.
Aid in Milan (AIM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit human service agency. Since 1976, we have worked to disrupt cycles of poverty, provide emergency food assistance, and promote healthy living for individuals and families in need.
Through our food pantry and mobile pantry programs, as well as direct aid, advocacy, and education services, we empower our clients to overcome barriers created by generational poverty. Our mission is strengthened by a volunteer-led approach, ensuring that community members play an active role in supporting their neighbors.
With a small but dedicated team and the help of volunteers, we remain committed to building a healthier, stronger community—one act of kindness at a time. Join us in making a difference.
What We Do
Aid in Milan provides comprehensive services to residents of the 48160 zip code (and MAS Schools of Choice families). Food is distributed through an on-site pantry. Emergency assistance is provided through our benefit advocacy program and staff members can assist clients with the MI Bridges application process. Seasonal programs provide clients with Thanksgiving food baskets, holiday gifts, Easter baskets, and school supplies.
