Micah 6 Community

Mission: To build the neighborhood that Pontiac deserves.

Micah 6 Community started with a group of friends who believed we could not adequately serve a neighborhood unless we did so as neighbors. So, we moved into our community in Pontiac, and made it our home.

Micah 6 Community serves our community in a number of ways including providing healthy food to our food desert through urban gardens and a small year-round produce store. We also provide a summer kids camp and after school tutoring for neighborhood children, giving them opportunities for enrichment and field trips. Finally, we provide neighborhood stabilizing programs including community events, critical home repair, utility assistance, etc.
