Community Partner Resources

United Way for Southeastern Michigan offers several resources to nonprofit and community organizations located, or serving residents in, Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.

VOLUNTEER PORTAL

United Way for Southeastern Michigan’s volunteer portal is used by more than 200 local organizations to recruit volunteers for their needs in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Washtenaw counties. These needs include in-person and virtual volunteer opportunities, as well as in-kind donation needs. The volunteer portal is free to use for both organizations and volunteers.

By utilizing the United Way Volunteer Portal, your organization’s volunteer opportunities will be visible to the 20,000+ registered users of the portal, as well as to United Way corporate and community partners who use the portal to identify volunteer opportunities. Through the portal, United Way is also able to run background checks on volunteers at no cost to your organization.
