Volunteer: College Students: Support Health Care Providers
Calling all aspiring health professional students, graduate, and undergraduate students to do #MIpart:
The COVID-19 pandemic directly affects our Michigan community. Those on the frontlines in healthcare and public health need YOUR HELP with childcare, elderly care, pet sitting and running errands so they can continue to serve those affected by the virus. As schools have transitioned to online learning, we are in a unique position to step into these roles and support our community during this unprecedented time.
Our mission is to help healthcare providers in Michigan who need assistance managing their household while serving on the frontlines during the coronavirus outbreak. It takes a village!
We provide assistance to ALL essential workers including, but not limited to: doctors, residents, nurses, hospital employees, RT, phlebotomists, CNAs, MAs, PT, hospital custodians, patient transport, EMTs, firefighters, police officers, pharmacists, grocery store employees and restaurant employees. ______________________________________________________________________________
Our services include:
Family care: childcare and elderly companionship and assistance
Pet sitting and walking: in your home or their, or even just for a nice walk
Household errands: grocery shopping, meal prep, light house work, or anything else that may help your
day run a little smoother
Online Tutoring: help children with their assigned schoolwork or engage them in activities

Volunteers and their matched family are responsible for coordinating tasks and shifts. The time commitment is dependent upon both the volunteers’ availability and the families’ needs. However, our team is always there to help facilitate communication between both parties!
