Are you interested in mentoring a fellow Detroiter to career success? If so, we are thrilled to announce that Mentor Information Sessions are beginning for StreetWise Detroit Program Launch! These sessions are the first step for anyone looking to volunteer as a mentor with us in Fall 2019.
StreetWise Partners is a nonprofit organization that focuses on workforce development. StreetWise works with unemployed and underemployed adults from overlooked and under-resourced communities to build professional skills and expand their networks. With support from mentors, mentees build resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, interview skills, elevator pitches and more - everything they need to jump-start their career trajectory!
