Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels needs volunteer HELP on Saturday December 5th
A bit about the tour: Over the years thousands of local residents attended this event to discover Ypsilanti's beauty and charm. This year's highlights include tours of 5 beautiful homes and YMOW's home. Music, food, and beverages are at each site. Guests may purchase our traditional handcrafted holiday ornament featuring a local Ypsilanti landmark. This year’s signature ornament showcases the beauty of Starkweather Hall on Eastern Michigan's campus.
Currently we need help for the following shifts on Saturday December 5th (you are welcome to help for more than one shift):
12:30 pm - 3 pm
3 pm - 5 pm
5 pm - 9 pm
What will you be doing a volunteer shift:
- Welcoming guests to the home
- Taking jackets
- Ensuring that guests only enter certain areas of the home
- Helping with last minute setup of food and beverage
The dress is dress pants/khaki's or a dress for the evening and casual during the day.
As a volunteer you will also be able to tour the homes too either before or after your shift. This a great way to experience a fun and festive event for the Holidays.
