Do you enjoy keeping score at baseball games? If so, we would love for you to be a part of our first-ever Ironclad Vintage Base Ball Festival on Saturday, July 18th in Chelsea! We have 12 clubs from MI and OH coming to Chelsea High School that day for matches played from 9am to 5pm. This is a day-long celebration of 1860-rules baseball...no gloves, no swearing, no spitting, no sliding! Family-friendly and open to the public. With 17 different matches on the schedule, we are in need of some volunteers to help us keep score throughout the day. Come join us for a match, or two or three! You won't regret being a part of this fun, unique and dynamic pastime. Maybe you've caught historic baseball being played at Greenfield Village, but it is also alive and well right here in Washtenaw County!
