On September 21, Crossroads will be holding our annual event in Detroit. This event will be incredibly important in our efforts to raise funds, raise awareness, and recognize those that are integral to the impacts we make.
There are multiple areas that we could assistance in ensuring this event is a success. Help out in one of the areas below on your own, with a friend, or with a group to support services that change lives:
- Set up: 10 people needed. Volunteer shift begins at 2pm and continues until completion or around 5pm. This group will set up 50 6-foot rectangular tables and 250 chairs including table coverings. We will provide a layout and someone onsite to supervise and give direction.
- Food Service: 10 people needed. Volunteer shift begins 5pm and should end around 8pm. We will have some folks replenishing and serving food, while other will be bussing tables.
- Tear Down and Cleanup: 10 people needed. Volunteer shift begins at 10:00pm and continues until completion. This group will dismantle all that we set up and stack and store the tables and chairs which were used during the event.
