Opportunities From: United Way for Southeastern Michigan

We are seeking one or two individuals who have worked in public relations and / or media relations to help us tell our story more widely.  Former journalists or new PR professionals are welcome to volunteer. Help us occasionally or regularly.

We have a very busy year ahead with events, competitions and summer jobs for Detroit youth. You will volunteer to write media releases, email newsletters and pitch and follow up with journalists, editors, producers to get Mint some stories and coverage.

Join our Marketing Group and help Mint continue the momentum this year.

Help a small nonprofit grow and serve more children and youth in Detroit. We need Ambassadors to advocate for us, connect us to potential donors and opportunities - and support our creative youth. You could:
-Introduce us to businesses that will commission art from our summer workers.

-Support our fundraisers by inviting new people to donate.

-Share our posts.

-Share your network. Introduce us to decision makers or funders or donors.
-Advocate for Mint and youth jobs.

-Show up at some of our events.
-Buy youth art.
-Level the playing field and open doors.

You also will be among the first to hear our big news and new initiatives and will help us continue our momentum through 2022.
