Volunteer: Hospice Volunteer- Office Assistant

Looking to make a significant impact with a minimal time commitment? Interim Home Health and Hospice is a full-service hospice that serves clients in Wayne, Oakland, and parts of Livingston County. Providing support for those who are living with a terminal illness is an essential service that hospice provides. In order to provide this much needed service, many things are happening behind the scenes that allows us to enhance the care and support we are able to provide. We are currently seeking an Office Assistant Volunteer to assist our hospice with writing out cards for our hospice program, as well as other miscellaneous administrative tasks as they may arise. This role requires good penmanship, time management skills, and ability to adhere to designated deadlines.  This Volunteer would report to our Novi office once per month for a 1–2-hour shift (may vary depending on the month). Volunteers must be 16+ years of age, and will be required to participate in our regulatory onboarding and training process. Volunteer: Volunteer Newsletter Writer- Hospice Bereavement

Interim Home Health and Hospice is a full-service hospice that supports a person’s quality of life when time is limited. We provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to those who are terminally ill, and those that love and care for them. Our hospice is located in Novi, Mi. Our service territory includes Wayne, Oakland, and parts of Livingston counties.  As member of our Hospice team, volunteers have a tremendous impact on the lives of the patients and families we serve, as well as the community and agency as a whole. Are you someone who enjoys research and writing content? Our Bereavement Program is looking for a volunteer who would be willing to assist our Bereavement Coordinator in writing content for a Grief and Loss newsletter. This volunteer would be responsible for researching and writing educational content provided by the Bereavement Coordinator. This volunteer role would end once the project is completed.  This would be a great role for anyone who is looking to volunteer remotely, have a flexible schedule, and wants to practice their creative writing and research skills.  Must be 16+ years of age, and be willing to complete our volunteer onboarding and training requirements.
