Every year, we make a fun and safe opportunity for HAVEN clients and families to dress up in their Halloween best and trick or treat! Volunteers for this opportunity are being asked to decorate their trunk in a nonviolent Halloween theme, supply and pass out candy or small trinkets(please do not bring clothing items or personal hygiene items stick to fun Halloween things) to HAVEN's youth! This is a great family event that volunteers children may also join in the fun and trick or treat as well! We are so excited to have you join us again this year! **As with last year, each trunk is limited to 4 volunteers. If you are coming with a team, please be sure to register as a team.** In the notes section of your registration, please include whether you are decorating a trunk, or are a participant. Time is 5:00pm start, however if you would like to set up trunk or need longer time to set up please feel free to come at 4:30pm!! Volunteer: Deep Clean the ShelterCleaning or organizing the shelter is a great way for a group and/or family to volunteer and help HAVEN! Most of the cleaning/organizing would occur within the shelter, and this includes but is not limited to cleaning fridges, ovens, the pet center and more! Volunteer must be 13 or older, and all minors must be supervised by an adult 21+. No training required, projects are typically scheduled about one month in advance. Contact us today to get started!
