Who We Are
Mission: To support families experiencing homelessness to build a better future and to enable 100% of the families we work with find stable housing.
Alpha House, operated by the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN), is a community-driven nonprofit that partners with local congregations and volunteers to support families experiencing homelessness. Since 1992, we’ve provided shelter, resources, and compassionate care to help families achieve long-term housing stability. At the heart of our mission is the belief that every child and family deserves a safe, supportive place to call home.
What We Do
With over 25 years of experience, Alpha House offers emergency shelter and intensive support services to families in crisis. Through our Housing First approach, we help parents set and achieve goals around employment, income, and housing while providing wraparound support—including child-focused services—to ensure long-term stability. In addition to serving families in our shelter, we assist dozens more through home-based support, always guided by our commitment to dignity, community, and lasting change.
