Fisher Magnet Lower Academy

Fisher Magnet Lower Academy is a unique early elementary facility, serving grades Pre-K to 4 that is renowned for its spacious campus and beautiful learning environment. We partner with the Detroit Recreation Department and Fisher Magnet Upper Academy (5th – 8th Grades) to offer a full service educational campus. Strong students-teacher-parent relationships focus on the individual needs of each child. Fisher Lower offers a variety of subjects including Art, Reading, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Library-Media/Computers and Physical Education. Our classroom technology includes laptops, State-of-the-Art Smart Boards, projectors, document cameras, computers, tablets and iPads.  We are on a mission to improve achievement through differentiated instruction (teaching in alternate ways to meet student needs) as well as through parent engagement.
