Who We Are
Mission: To determine the effectiveness of various interventions in promoting healing and resilience among participants.
The Healing After Loss (HAL) Study, led by Jennifer Johnson, Ph.D., at Michigan State University’s Flint Research Center, investigates grief support programs for individuals who have lost loved ones to violent deaths.
What We Do
For women who are feeling down after a loss of a pregnancy or young infant, we are offering no-cost groups through our research study; these groups are run by experienced counselors. Participants may receive support and counseling through our research study at no cost and may be compensated up to $180.
