Faith Tabernacle Church

Mission: To offer a “deliverance” ministry that worships God and believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

FTC is a place where the Spirit of the Lord is manifested to deliver people from anything that hinder them from having their rightful relationship with God. The vision is also that FTC is a “beacon light” for lost souls whereby people are drawn to Jesus Christ. Faith Tabernacle Church was ordained by God and established by faith to minister to the people. First locally, then wherever possible based upon the following scripture: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised”. (St. Luke 4:18). We were founded in 1966 by Bishop Morris Thomas, Sr. and Betty L. Thomas.

We serve the people in our community and abroad. We seek to meet the practical needs of our congregants and community members. We offer programs for the youth, classes, and counseling for personal development, food, and clothing giveaways for those in need and global missions to serve those abroad. Faith Tabernacle Church will minister to their broken spirit, wounded emotions, and physical illnesses. Through Jesus Christ, we believe they will be healed physically, emotionally, and spiritually; and they will know for themselves that God is a deliverer.
