

Who We Are
Mission: To build comprehensive programs which are designed to educate, empower and elevate the entire community while rebuilding a better city.
Mack Alive is a 33-year-old 501(c)3 non-profit community resource center. Founded in 1991, we work daily to bring needed resources to this area. Our vision is a clean, safe, educated and inclusive Detroit and we work everyday to serve as a change agent for positive growth.
What We Do
Mack Alive offers a variety of community services to address the needs of requests including AAA, Drug Anonymous, mental health, grief and loss, environmental health and community services, and food insecurity.
We partner with the following groups to empower and elevate the entire community: Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network, Genesis Hope, Gleaners Community Food Bank, ArtCorpsDetroit, City Connect Detroit, Detroit Design Core, Harris Literacy Program (WSU), Keep Growing Detroit, IShallBe Mobile Arts (WSU), Southeastern High School of Technology, Partnership for a DrugFree Detroit, County Community College, Women of Vision, Veteran’s Alive and many other organizations.
