WonderFool Productions

WonderFool Productions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to engaging communities in dynamic, educational, collaborative and entertaining public art experiences.

We bring together organizations, schools, businesses, and individual artists to create free and unique art events in the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti communities.

WonderFool Productions produces two Ann Arbor events each April: FestiFools and FoolMoon, and has recently partnered with the Ypsilanti community to create a new fall-season event: ypsiGLOW.

We plan three community art events every year: FestiFools, FoolMoon, and ypisGLOW.

FestiFools is one of Ann Arbor’s cultural treasures. It is a HUGE-mongous public art spectacular, created by members of the community and U of M students. Magnificent, colorful, bizarre, human-powered papier-mâché puppets join thousands of Foolish friends frolicking about downtown for one fun-filled hour!

FoolMoon is the nighttime kick-off event to our foolish weekend! In the heart of downtown Ann Arbor, everyone and anyone is invited to gather in the streets to shake off those cold gray winters. The skyline will be filled with luminaries, interactive installations, laser shows, a beer tent sponsored by Grizzly Peak, DJ’s raised into the air, live dance performances, and oh so many more de-LIGHT-fool surprises! If you have never been to FoolMoon before, you won’t want to miss it. If you have been to FoolMoon, we will see your glowing faces there!

yspiGLOW is the newest event hosted by WonderFool Productions and it is centered around Ypsilanti culture and creativity. From black lights to street perfomers to live DJ music, ypsiGLOW is a community built glow-out block party like you've never seen!!
