Who We Are

Mission: To inspire curious minds of all ages to discover, explore and appreciate science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) in a creative, dynamic learning environment.

The Michigan Science Center (MiSci) is a dynamic hands-on museum that inspires curious minds of all ages to discover, explore and appreciate STEM. With live stage shows, a 4D theater, a Planetarium, 250+ hands-on exhibits, lab activities, special exhibits and more, there’s more than you can see and do in a week. In fact, there’s something new to discover at MiSci every month! MiSci also serves our community with a variety of education and outreach programs.

What We Do

Michigan Science Center uses cutting edge technology to facilitate scientific learning and discovery. We use principles of engineering, medicine, and other fields to connect to real world experiences and careers, and we utilize unique, engaging exhibits, stages, theater, and educational offerings that promote areas and principles of science.
