We are an award-winning expert in mentoring and workforce prep programs for high school and college, trade school, or other post-secondary education students.

We help Metro Detroit students pursue their dreams and build the skills they need to succeed in their careers, families, and communities.

Students enter our program in 10th grade and stay with us through four years of college, trade school, or other training programs. Each student is paired with a volunteer Career Mentor from the business world. Career Mentors attend one-hour sessions at a participating school and coach students through our program, providing guidance, encouragement, and real-world insights. Our evidence-based curriculum includes career exploration, life and job skills development, participation in workshops, college and career tours, and the creation of personalized academic and career plans. We also support our continuing education students with scholarships and emergency funds to help them stay on track. Since 1994 we have impacted more than 50,500 students and awarded $2.2 million in scholarships. Participating schools are in Detroit, Harper Woods, Hazel Park, Sterling Heights, and Warren.
