Mission: To provide services and support that help blind and visually impaired individuals live productive, independent lives with confidence and dignity.

Through teaching, training, and innovative technology, our comprehensive range of services enables blind and visually impaired individuals to cope with the daily challenges associated with blindness. GDABVI helps people develop and maintain their self-confidence and independence for a well-adjusted, self-sufficient life. We also act as a community liaison and consultant, coordinating services to satisfy the unique needs of our clients while helping to enhance their overall quality of life.

GDABVI takes a whole-person approach to sight loss by meeting people where they are in their vision journey. We provide daily living skills, technology training, orientation and mobility, support groups, case management for basic needs, information and resources, and opportunities to socialize for blind and visually impaired individuals. Our programs foster independence, safety, and overall well-being across the lifespan.
