Who We Are
Mission: To raise funds for AADL programming through the sale of donated books and other materials in the FAADL Book Shop, online shop, at the Downtown Library and all library branches.
The Friends of the Ann Arbor District Library support the AADL’s mission of assuring public ownership of and access to information and services. The Friends serve as an advocate for the AADL and its constituencies and raise funds for the benefit of the library.
What We Do
The Friends of the Ann Arbor District Library (the Friends) raises funds to support library programming through the operation of the Friends Book Shop located on the first floor of the Ann Arbor District Library’s downtown branch, through books purchased at the library branches, and through five annual book sales.
