Who We Are

Mission: To advance well-being and honor quality of life.

Compassus is a nationwide network of community-based hospice, palliative and home health care services. Our mission is to offer comfort and hope to patients and families facing serious illness. We support that mission with a commitment to three core values: Compassion, Integrity, and Excellence.

We are a Nashville, Tennessee-based company founded in 2006, but with roots in hospice reaching back to 1979. Today, we have more than 150 local programs in 35 states across the U.S. Our goals are to provide the highest quality care in every community in which we serve and to be both the provider and employer of choice.

What We Do

Compassus Hospice allows terminally ill patients and their families to remain together in the comfort and dignity of their own home. The hospice team of physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, dietitians, social workers, clergy and volunteers are dedicated to providing compassionate medical and emotional care. Compass strives to provide the best quality of life through expert pain control, symptom management, psycho-social and spiritual support in accordance with the individual patient wishes.

Compassus Volunteers are an integral part of the hospice Care Team. They enhance the quality of life of the patient in many ways. Choosing to be a hospice volunteer isn’t easy, but it comes with lifelong rewards. Your gift of compassion brings solace to patients while cultivating purpose in your own life.
