May 13: Inaugural Macomb Community Impact Day
On behalf of Connect Macomb, Advancing Macomb and the Anchor Bay Chamber of Commerce we are excited to invite your organization to participate in our Inaugural Community Impact Day, a new initiative designed to bring together businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders to make a meaningful difference across Macomb County.
Community Impact Day will be held across Macomb County on Wednesday, May 13th from 1-4pm – we are hoping for a project in each of the 27 communities that make up the county.
Community Impact Day will unite volunteers from Macomb County with local nonprofit organizations or municipalities for a day of service focused on strengthening our communities. This initiative will create opportunities for collaboration, service, and connection between the nonprofit and business sectors.
Participating organizations will have the opportunity to:
- Engage volunteers to support hands-on projects or organizational needs
- Build relationships with local business leaders and employees
- Increase awareness of your mission and the vital work you do in our community
We are currently seeking organizational partners to identify projects or activities that can be completed during Community Impact Day. Projects may include on-site volunteer opportunities, beautification efforts, organizing or packing initiatives, outreach activities, or other meaningful work that supports your organization’s mission. Think outside the box – and know that there will be thousands of volunteers available that day!
We will bring the volunteers, it’s the responsibility of your organization to provide any materials and/or tools that will be needed to complete the projects.
Click here to submit your project to ensure we provide the correct amount of volunteers!
