We could not fulfill our mission without the help of our volunteers! Giving back to the community by volunteering allows you to be a Friend In Deed for our neighbors in need, and for the community. It’s also a great way to gain a new, broader, and more unique perspective, and meet like-minded people.
We are looking for a wide variety of volunteers of various ages and skill levels to assist in our warehouse. (18+ preferred)
Furniture donations are the backbone of our organization’s inventory. Warehouse volunteers help us repair and maintain our inventory that allow us to provide families in need with essential, gently-used furniture.
We have a wide variety of tasks depending on your ability, such as:
Unpacking, sorting, and preparing furniture/household items for delivery to our clients
Building, repairing, or painting furniture in our woodshop
Removing stains, sewing repairs, vacuuming, or deep-cleaning upholstery before it is delivered
Helping to deliver and set-up furniture for a family in need
