Description

This volunteer opportunity - an eco-workday - focuses on invasive plant removal and strengthening ecosystems at the University of Michigan Nichols Arboretum (Arb) and Gardens. Perfect for groups, individuals, and pairs, your participation aids our mission to foster a greener, healthier world.

Learn more about our Arb and Garden's eco-workdays and sign-up directly for an open spot at the below link. Most eco-workdays happen the 2nd and 3rd Saturday of each month throughout the full calendar year - yes, even winter! - but we often add special days and events too throughout each month.

Although we do welcome minors and families (with adult supervision), this volunteer work is best suited for those 16+ in age due to the use of hand tools and other factors. Feel free to reach out to discuss if this is a good fit!
