United Way for Southeastern Michigan is recruiting volunteers to participate in several career days hosted at local high schools. Career days expose students to a variety of available career pathways and display the education, skills, credentials and prior experience required to be successful in the field.
Twenty-five representatives are needed to volunteers at Communications and Media Arts High School (14771 Mansfield St., Detroit) in the areas of engineering, business, marketing, media (TV and radio) and healthcare. Other fields are also welcome. Organizations can send 1-3 volunteers per field or a variety of all fields. Volunteers will go classroom to classroom to give a brief presentation on their career path.
