United Way and Read to a Child are inviting volunteers to Southwest Detroit Community School to assist in preparation of SWDCS's literacy night. Volunteers will be asked to prepare the school space, pack literacy bags and assist in other event elements as deemed important by the staff at the school. In addition, volunteers will scan and sort books using the libib app for Read to a Child's Lunchtime Reading Program.
