Read United is a United Way initiative to bring awareness and support to literacy programs throughout the region. During March is Reading Month, United Way is partnering with area schools and education-focused organizations to engage volunteers in literacy opportunities throughout Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.
Guest readers are needed at Herrington Elementary School in Pontiac to help promote the love for reading! Volunteers can bring their favorite book and can sign up for multiple shifts.
