Read United is a United Way initiative to bring awareness and support to literacy programs throughout the region. During March is Reading Month, United Way is partnering with area schools and education-focused organizations to engage volunteers in literacy opportunities throughout Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.
Guest readers are needed at Bethune Elementary-Middle School in Detroit to help promote the love for reading! Volunteers can bring their favorite book and can sign up for multiple shifts.
