Volunteer Opportunity
Volunteers will be assisting with preparing the resources for our Cookie Drop and Outreach Campaign to local and statewide fire departments. Will be assisting with preparing promotional materials, assembling cookie boxes, and the mailer. Will also be assisting the distribution of items to our delivery volunteers and assisting with other Climb Detroit and ALA office volunteer projects as needed.
The ideal volunteer day is Tuesday, April 18 between 10-4 with additional related opportunities during the campaign distribution that week.

2023 Annual First Responder & Firefighter Cookie Drop
On behalf of the American Lung Association, volunteers will be delivering cookies across Southeast Michigan to local first responders and firefighters as a gesture of our appreciation for their community service and support! Nearly 200 boxes will be delivered to more than 50 communities this Spring.
The mission of the American Lung Association hits close to home with firefighters and first responders because of their increased susceptibility to lung disease, including lung cancer due to the exposure of gases, chemicals, and smoke in the line of duty. We welcome our community to join us in this annual campaign.
