Volunteer team members assisting our industrial sewing program cut and organize fabric for Zaman's seamstresses to manufacture clothing, leather goods, and more! Sewing volunteers receive training in precise fabric cutting at our Hope For Humanity Center and join the team (weekly or monthly) to help with industrial sewing projects.
Zaman Sewing Center - Hope for Humanity Center: 26091 Trowbridge St., Inkster, MI 48141
- A keen eye for detail is required, but no professional sewing experience is necessary
- Volunteers will gain further skills in sewing while working with our certified sewing instructor and other qualified volunteers. .
The sewing center needs volunteers: M-F 10 am - 2:00 pm
Shifts are typically 4 hours
