The Lakeshore YMCA host's an event called Parent's Night Out every month, on the third Friday, from 6-9pm. This allow's parents to enjoy their Friday evening, while the Y watches their children.
The YMCA is looking for volunteers to oversee the event. Responsibilities would include engaging with the children, keeping them safe, , feeding them dinner (provided by the Y), and most importantly, having fun!
Volunteers would need to complete and return the attached Volunteer Application, pass a background check, complete our child-safe training, and complete an interview with Volunteer coordinator. Applications can be returned to the Lakeshore YMCA or e-mailed back to Carol at cburton@ymcadetroit.org
