Our Brilliant Detroit Osborn Hub will be hosting Open Streets for the 2nd year!
For this event, we are looking for volunteers to help our kids with Technology Activities, specifically Robotics!
Kids will have the opportunity to use VR Headsets and build robots. We would love if any volunteers who had experience in these areas would help guide our students and help make STEM activities fun!
This event will be in person, outdoors, and socially distanced.

We are currently only accepting vaccinated volunteers in order to protect our families, staff, and current volunteers.
Brilliant Detroit In-Person COVID-19 Volunteer Guidelines
All in-person volunteers must be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. Please either provide us with a proof of vaccination before coming to volunteer or when you arrive at the event.
We ask that even though you are vaccinated, that you wear a mask when volunteering as some community members are not yet vaccinated. We will have masks available if you have forgotten one.
If you are experiencing a fever, any symptoms of COVID-19, or test positive for COVID-19 anytime between signing up to volunteer and the volunteer event itself, please contact us. We will ask you to fill out a short form confirming that you have not experienced any symptoms or tested positive for COVID-19 when you arrive to volunteer.
Please wash your hands after touching your face and before and after handling food or program materials. Please avoid any unnecessary contact with any individuals (participants, staff, other volunteers).
Some volunteer events may include food. At this time our food policy is as follows; shared meals will be limited. Food can be prepared and taken home to eat, but consuming meals together is prohibited.
