Wednesday, October 9 from 6-7:30pm | Universal Access Playground in Gallup Park
We will walk about 3 miles and tour the rain gardens within Gallup Park and Furstenberg Park. Along the way we will enjoy views of the Huron River as we cross over bridges and walk through small islands. Come learn how these rain gardens work, what plants you can find inside them and how important they are to keeping the Huron River clean! We will mostly stay on the pathway so dress comfortably and bring water. The walk will be led rain or shine by staff from the Water Resources Commissioner's Office. Free parking is available at the end of Gallup Park Rd.
