Age Group: Ages 8-11 (3rd-5th Grade)
Description: We Care is a Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Program that’s goal is to prevent elementary students from becoming a victim or perpetrator of abuse by building upon social-emotional learning skills through mutli-model and experiential lessons.

- Body Language
- Stress: healthy and unhealthy
- Healthy and Unhealthy Relationships
- Safe Spaces
- Trusted Adults
- Coping
- Personal Boundaries
- Accepting “No”
What volunteering will look like:
- Teaching 4-6 lessons that are 25-45 minutes in length each
- Lessons scheduled once or twice a week for 3-6 weeks
Skills needed:
- Classroom and conflict management skills
- Prior teaching and facilitation experience
- Ability to provide an engaging environment for students
- Confidence to deliver sensitive topic information to students
