COVID19 INFO - The safety and well-being of our community, staff and volunteers are important to Forgotten Harvest. We are monitoring the situation and taking our lead from the Michigan Public Health Department, MIOSHA and the CDC. We are asking any person considering volunteering to please practice necessary safety precautions:
- Based on review of the current COVID-19 transmission in our area, FH is requiring face coverings (masks) indoors in public areas at all times, regardless of vaccination status. FH highly recommends face covering outdoors. FH wants its volunteers to know CDC’s guidance: “Your mask helps protect those around you. And offers some protection to you.”
- FH requests all members of FH’s team and our volunteers to respect and honor the rights of others who prefer to wear masks and also respect everyone’s safety choices during this transition time.
- Maintain 6’ social distancing, including use of plastic barriers and “sneeze-guards” in our work areas.
- Continue personal health etiquette, including frequent handwashing or hand-sanitizing.
