There is always a great need for individuals and/or groups with up to 15 people to package boxes of food. This opportunity is ideal for groups and is done on an organized assembly line. The process is a very rewarding experience. Individual volunteers will be teamed up with an available group so feel free to ask if there are any groups that can use an extra hand!

Hours: Tuesday -Thursday 9:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-4:00pm
*limited Saturday's

Volunteers that participate will be "cutting stock", that is Focus: Hope lingo for opening boxes to prepare to put the commodities in boxes, load on pallets for delivery. This is a moderately physical activity. Long periods of active moving and standing are required.

Attire: We suggest volunteers dress comfortably and wear comfortable shoes. No open toe shoes, jogging pants, shorts, tank tops/sleeveless shirts.

Additional Information: There is limited storage space, please leave personal items in a secure place.

Parking & Entering the building: Is located inside the gated lot at Oakman and 14th street. Once inside the gated lot, there will be a sign on the building directing volunteers to enter in the door facing Oakman Blvd. The Volunteer break room will be to your immediate left. Go inside, check in on the registration kiosk.
