Are you interested in helping celebrate America's birthday in downtown Ann Arbor? The Ann Arbor Jaycees are looking for volunteers to help run the parade on Thursday, July 4 from 7:45 a.m. - noon and then join us for lunch after the parade!
The parade begins at 10 a.m. but there is a lot of work to do before the first candy is thrown. We will need volunteers to help collect waivers, monitor the barricades, act as a "parade usher" to keep participants on track, and work with kids in our bike decorating contest. You can indicate your position preference but please note that our ability to accommodate your preference is not guaranteed and is based on available space.
Parade headquarters will be at the corner of S State St. and North University on the Diag side.
