Motor City Makeover 365 is an annual citywide volunteer cleanup and beautification initiative. Annually, thousands of volunteers across Detroit come together to clean and beautify neighborhoods, parks, playgrounds, and around businesses, schools, and places of worship. Beautification and clean-up projects take place the first three Saturdays in May based on City Council Districts.
Motor City Makeover Projects will take place the following dates:
District 1,2 and 3: Saturday May 3rd
District 4 and 5: Saturday May 10th
District 6 and 7: Saturday May 17th
Please complete this form in its entirety to register as a volunteer. Upon registration volunteers, will receive an email with their paired community project location, volunteer contact and details.
*Projects are a minimum of 4 hours Volunteers should bring their own work gloves and protective eyewear/sunglasses as well as wear pants and closed-toed shoes.
