SUMMARY
The Reception Volunteer will work side-by-side with the Office Manager to ensure things at HAVEN run smoothly for clients, community partners, and staff. Each day will look a little different, but volunteers will sit at the front desk, acting as the first point of contact for visitors to the building and business-related callers. Reception Volunteers will take responsibility for ensuring visitors to HAVEN are appropriately screened before entering. They will assist the Office Manager with a range of clerical and administrative tasks.
· Be at least 18 years old
· Have availability during regular business hours (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday)
· Have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
· Have a moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and have general internet skills
· Mandatory 24-hour Core Skills & Values training
· Mandatory Front Desk training
· Fulfill 8+ volunteer hours monthly, as scheduled
