Life Remodeled will mobilize over 10,000 volunteers across six days to clean and beautify 300 city blocks and bring joy to many Detroit community members. This years’ project will focus heavily on clearing blighted alleyways. The project will include the following:
- Clearing every blighted alleyway within a four-mile geography surrounding the Durfee Innovation Society (Central Detroit Neighborhood)
- Avengers Youth Mentoring Summer Camp (ages 5-13)
- Basketball Camp (ages 11-14)
- Career Fair for youth (ages 14-24)
- Family Fun Days with activities, entertainment, carnival games, and the world’s largest bounce house
