Teaching provided to adult caregivers of infants

Description: The goal of our Safe Baby program is to educate caregivers of infants about infant safe sleep practices and Shaken Baby Syndrome prevention in order to reduce and eliminate infant deaths.

What volunteering will look like:

  • Putting together Safe Sleep packets for parents of newborns.
  • Facilitating Safe Sleep Trainings with caregivers of infants (parents, medical professionals, highschool students, etc.).
  • Creating infographics and brochures for the Safe Baby Program.
  • Assisting in setting up/tearing down informational booths at community events. Engaging with community members and educating them on Safe Sleep/ Safe Baby information at these events.
