Help bring some holiday joy to the community!
Our annual Holiday Shop at The Children’s Center is coming up at the beginning of December!
The Children's Center Holiday Shop benefits about 1,500 local children and their families during the holiday season. Through this event, we provide each child with a large gift item (valued at approximately $25), a book, hat & gloves, and a stocking stuffer, and then provide a new blanket and a $25 Meijer gift card to each family as well (with the intention of purchasing ingredients for a holiday meal).
In-kind donations are needed to make this event a success! Items needed include:
- New, unwrapped gifts for children ages birth to 18 years old (Gifts should be valued at approximately $25)
- Books
- Blankets
- Hats
- Gloves
- Stocking stuffers (various items $5 and under)
- Gift wrapping supplies
All items should be new. Please do not wrap gifts (although gift wrapping supplies are also needed!)
Items can be delivered to The Children's Center (79 Alexandrine West, Detroit, MI 48201, Building 90) from November 28 to December 2.
