PURPOSE OF JOB: Plan and purchase hygiene or school supplies to fill kits or backpacks for individuals and families. Kits and backpacks will go to either youth, families, or adults served by our Housing Services or school-based whole family support services. Volunteer needs to be able to raise or provide own funds to purchase supplies.
TIME COMMITMENT REQUIRED: 2 HOURS including:

~ 2 hours estimated to complete job duties
DUTIES
- Collect funds for purchasing below supplies.
- Purchase supplies either Family-size or Individual-size:
- small bag to fit supplies per kit or backpack
- Hygiene supplies: body soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes
- School supplies include pencils, pens, folders, notebook, tape or glue sticks, etc.
- Optional supplies: feminine hygiene products, products for African-American hair, deodorant, shampoo and/or conditioner, hairbrush or comb, wash cloth, safety razor, hand sanitizer liquid or wipes.
- Put supplies into the bag
- Email to arrange kit pick-up or drop-off
QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to raise or provide own funds to purchase kit supplies
LOCATION: REMOTE = You may do this volunteer job anywhere!
