HVA is seeking individuals interested in training to be a member of our Volunteer Team. Our volunteers help us by serving as ancillary personnel during community events with both medical and non-medical responsibilities.
You can train to be a medical first responder at community events or to assist with community/education awareness programs and administrative tasks.

At this meeting you will receive information about our volunteer team and have an opportunity to complete an application and sign up for an interview.
Free Training for Medical First Responders
The eight week training program starts on February 23. Classes meet on Monday/Wednesday from 6-10:30pm and three Saturdays from 8am-5pm.
Upon completion, you may take the State exam to be certified as a Medical First Responder. Free training also provided for community education and administrative support volunteer positions.
