Who We Are

Mission: To deliver essential health and human services to all people, regardless of their background.

ACC is the premier non-profit human service organization providing Health and Human Services to the vulnerable and underserved communities in Michigan. ACC has evolved from an organization that focused on serving a specific population to one that serves all people of all ages and backgrounds. In 1979, a one person office was opened in the International Institute in Detroit to serve a unique population of immigrants. Over 40 years later, ACC provides over 500,000 services annually through its 35 outreach centers.

What We Do

We are committed to addressing core human needs and empowering underserved communities through comprehensive support in health, education, employment, and community development. By fostering inclusivity and resilience, we strive to create a brighter future for individuals and families throughout Michigan.

ACC’s services provide a holistic approach to care by providing basic needs, health, education, employment, youth and community development programs.
