The Steps Forward is a global nonprofit dedicated to empowering women refugees, immigrants, and asylum seekers by advancing gender equality and creating opportunities for education, employment, and leadership. We support women in building successful careers and thriving in their communities, while fostering inclusive societies where their contributions are recognized and valued.
We also collaborate with corporate and institutional partners who share our commitment to gender equity, working together to break barriers and support women’s economic empowerment worldwide.
What We Do
The Steps Forward provides mentoring, career development, and leadership training to support women at every stage of their professional journey. We connect aspiring leaders with role models, offer tools to help students and young professionals advance, and host global forums and discussions to amplify women’s voices and drive progress toward gender equality.
