Who We Are

Mission: We partner with you to make lives better, caring for the Whole Person with integrated and free medical, dental, food, and behavioral health care, all in Jesus’ name.

Hope Clinic is made up of 1,600+ active volunteers—people like you—working for a world where help is never out of reach. At Hope Clinic, we believe that everyone deserves to have their needs met, regardless of income or insurance. We believe that being health care providers means more than curing illnesses. True health is physical, mental, and spiritual. True health care must address all three, every time. We call this Whole Person Care.

What We Do

We are at the forefront of integrated care: all for the uninsured, all for free. Our team works together to unite all aspects of a patients’ health care into one big picture. At Hope Clinic, one patient’s care team may include doctors, dentists, mental health professionals, healthcare navigators, patient advocates, food & basic needs support, and more, with the patient’s unique needs at the center! Folks who might otherwise fall through the cracks can find free, dignified, and integrated support here.

Our Services include:

Ypsilanti and Wayne Hope Medical Clinics provide free medical care for the uninsured/underinsured. Vision screening is also available. Volunteer medical professionals conduct thousands of patient visits each year.

Hope Dental Clinic provides preventive and restorative dental care to the uninsured. More than 4,000 patient visits occur each year – that’s a lot of smiles.

Hope Behavioral Health provides Integrated Behavioral Healthcare. Our Behavioral Health team helps with patient advocacy and provides mental health screening and counseling. We also work to connect clients with resources in the community that can provide assistance.

Food & Basic Needs Program provides hot meals served 6 days a week as well as access to well-stocked food pantry with food & non-food essentials, and year-round farm stand with fresh produce distribution. Grocery delivery to home-bound patients happens twice a week. Emergency food packages are also available, and we provide baby care supplies such as diapers, formula and baby food, plus free self-serve laundry on-site.
