Mission: To empower youth, teen parents, and low-income families in Metro Detroit by providing access to housing, education, and supportive services that build stability, inspire growth, and create pathways to a better future.
Youth Community Agency Macomb: Job Clinic + Resource Center (YCAM) was founded in November 2023 to meet a need in Macomb County and surrounding communities with a lack of accessible support for youth, teen moms, and low-income families navigating the challenges of career development and education.
From the start, we positioned ourself as more than just a job clinic. We were built as a safe and empowering space for youth to grow, gain confidence, and take steps toward independence. YCAM has grown rapidly, driven by community partnerships and a shared commitment to equity and opportunity. Today, YCAM continues to serve hope and resilience by offering culturally competent support to young people striving for better futures.
At YCAM, we help youth aged 16 to 24, including teen moms and families facing financial hardship, with the tools and support needed to achieve long-term success.
We fulfill our mission through career development, education support, and resource access.
