Who We Are
Mission: To provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Ann Arbor, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. Its grassroots-driven programs offer help where children need it most – right in their own communities. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children’s lives through its global network of local Chapters in 52 countries and regions and its three core programs:
- Ronald McDonald House
- Ronald McDonald Family Room
- Ronald McDonald Care Mobile
These programs provide a bridge to accessible health care and allow families more time together, which helps in the healing process. RMHC and its global network of local Chapters also have hundreds of millions of dollars in grants and program services to children’s programs around the world.
What We Do
Ronald McDonald House Charities Ann Arbor has two Houses that provide a supportive home away from home for families of children 21 years of age and younger receiving treatment at a local area health facility.
Each House offers bedrooms with a private bathroom, and close proximity to the Hospital so that family members can relax and take care of themselves knowing their child is just minutes away. Comfortable living room areas offer the opportunity for sharing with other families going through similar experiences.
